A teen boy was beaten and robbed on his way to yeshiva, police in New York said.
Brooklyn Police said that the Hasidic boy was attacked just before 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to the police investigation, the 14-year-old boy was on his way to yeshiva when he was approached by two black men in front of 124 Division Avenue.
The suspects demanded money. The boy handed over $1. The suspects knocked the boy to the ground, stole his cash and fled from the scene.
The victim went back home and told his parents about the assault. Police were called and they launched an investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.
