Two months into their marriage, things deteriorated. The couple got into an argument in their car and Yifeng stabbed Chen dozens of times with a pair of scissors. He also hit her with a hammer.

(Scroll down for video) A woman might be forced to file bankruptcy after being hit with a nearly $1 million medical bill for giving birth to her baby.

Jennifer Huculak-Kimmel of Canada, was six months pregnant when she was cleared by her doctor to leave the country on vacation.

She and her husband bought travel insurance before flying from their home in Saskatchewan to Hawaii.

However, two days after arriving, her water broke and she went into labor nine weeks before her due date.

Huculak-Kimmel was taken a hospital in Honolulu. She spent the next 6 weeks on bed rest at the Hawaiian Hospital.

The baby girl, named Reece, spent two months in intensive care before being able to go home.

Despite having travel insurance, Blue Cross denied payment for their medical bills, saying that the woman had a pre-existing condition.

Huculak-Kimmel had an infection on the bladder during the fourth month of her pregnancy. However, her doctor and the doctor who treated her in Hawaii, said that the condition did not cause the baby to be born premature.

She insisted that she would have never traveled if there was a risk to her baby or herself.

Huculak-Kimmel and her husband cannot afford to pay the $950,000 medical bill. They will have to decide whether to go after the insurance company or to file for bankruptcy.

The Kentucky fire chief is being criticized for racism after he refused to help the family of stranded motorists because they were black.

Southeast Bullitt Fire Chief Julius Hatfield is apparently not only racist to black people, but to other minorities as well.

Hatfield was heard discussing a traffic accident on I-65. He went out of his way to assist Loren Dicken, who is white.

He even offered to change his tire free of charge. “You got a jack?” Hatfield asked the driver. “If you show me where it is I’ll get my guys to change the tire for you,” he said.

At first, Dicken turned down the offer, but Hatfield insisted, saying, “It will save you a bill.”

Firefighters later, picked up Dicken from a hospital and took him back to the fire station, where his car was fixed and ready to go.

However, Hatfield treated the black family of four completely different.

“I’ve got a family of four from Cincinnati, I got to do something with them,” the Bullitt County deputy tells Hatfield over the radio.

“We ain’t taking no n****rs here,” Hatfield replied while laughing.

Instead of offering to help Chege Mwangi, the deputy recommended that he call the AAA auto club.

Hatfield Chinn said that he does not remember making the racist comments during the accident on I-65. When he learned that his statement was recorded on video, he said that “it was a slip of the tongue.”
