A business that offered consumers to receive slaps on their faces, was shut down after not attracting any customers in two years.

The face slapping salon opened its doors in the district of Richmond in San Francisco, California, but apparently, they could not get enough customers to stay open.

Tata Face Slapping Massage managed to attract a lot of buzz after opening its doors by offering this bizarre service.

The salon charged $350 per 15 minutes of face slapping or $1,000 for four sessions, and then you were supposed to look like a celebrity, beautiful young and photoshopped.

If you still want to get beautified through face slapping, you can still find Tata Face Slapping Massage and her old ways on the Internet.

“I went to get my face slapped, but I did not expect the nightmare scenario that unfolded. I had a safe word for when I couldn't handle the slaps anymore. The word was sloppy joes. I kept saying it, but she kept slapping me. I feel terrible, look awful and seem to have misplaced $350,” Nathan M. of San Francisco said.

In the video below, you can see a report about the salon when it opened.

Chef at 5-star restaurant caught washing feet in kitchen sink

By: Tanya Malhotra

Diners in the United Kingdom, were horrified to see a chef at their favorite five-star restaurant washing his feet in the kitchen sink, according to photos uploaded to the Internet.

The photos appear to show the chef next to his food preparation area at the Neel Akash Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

However, the owner appealed to his customers, saying that this was not a regular occurrence at the restaurant. He said that the chef accidentally dropped hot oil on his foot and needed to cool it down.

The restaurant has a five-star rating from the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the highest possible rating. One diner who saw the chef washing his feet, said that he felt sick in his stomach.

He said that he ate there many times, and was totally surprised and annoyed. “I will never set foot there again,” he said.

Restaurant owner Mohammed Shajahan said that it was an isolated incident and was not a reflection of his impeccable food hygiene rules.

“The only reason that the employee had his foot in the sink was because he had dropped hot oil on his foot and quickly needed to cool the area to avoid a severe burn. I immediately apologized to the diner and asked the chef why he had broken the health and safety rules. The chef was asked to resign and now has left my restaurant,” Shajahan said.

A mother took her former boyfriend to court in order to get child support for their child.

However, the woman was shocked to discover that she was not the biological mother of her son.

After an investigation, it was revealed that two children were switched at birth in a South African hospital.

Two mothers learned that their babies had been switched at the Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg, 4 years ago.

Both mother’s were said to be in shock after hearing that the child they raised and loved for 4 years, is not their own.

So far, the girl and boy involved were not informed of the switch.

A legal expert suggested that the children not be returned to their biological parents because they are too attached to their “adopted” parents who have raised them since birth.

The report that was drawn up by the University of Pretoria's Centre for Child Law, has now been handed over to a court for consideration.

The university report however, suggested that if the parents chose they may have a relationship with their biological children.

The parents will have an opportunity to voice opinions and concerns in court, but the judge will ultimately determine the outcome.

Man sues police after being arrested and convicted for calling them racists on Facebook

By: Mahesh Sarin

A man is suing a Wisconsin police department for violating his rights.

The man filed a federal lawsuit, alleging that the Arena Police Department violated his civil rights by arresting him after calling them racists on Facebook.

The incident began when the Arena Police posted a message on their Facebook page, thanking the members of the community for helping them detain “two black children.”

Thomas Smith felt that the officers were racists, and made his opinion clear with a profanity-laced comment on the Arena Police Department’s Facebook page.

Smith accused the police of targeting suspects based on their race.

Later that day, Smith got a call from the police department, asking if he had posted the comment. Smith responded that he did and added that he stands by it.

That night, officers arrested Smith at his home in Arena. He was charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful use of computerized communications.

Prosecutors argued that his words were not protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution, as they could incite violence.

Smith was found guilty, convicted and sentenced to probation with community service.

However, he appealed that case and the State Appeals Court overturned the conviction. The judges ruled that Facebook posts are protected by the First Amendment.

Smith is suing the police department, alleging that officials retaliated against him. He is seeking an unspecified amount for legal fees and damages.

The lawsuit notes that the department deleted the Facebook messages that were critical of the officers.
