The Daytona Beach police Department said that they arrested 31-year-old John Arwood and 25-year-old Amber Campbell, after they were found living in the unlocked closet.
After spending two days in the janitor’s closet, Arwood called police from his cellphone. Officers tracked the location of the cellphone and let the two out of the closet that was covered in human waste.
Arwood did not say why he waited two days before calling the police. Police said that the closet did not have a lock. Officers did not find drugs in the closet.
Arwood and Campbell were charged with trespassing. Campbell was also accused of violating probation.
