(Scroll down for video) Police are investigating a crime scene, where 4 people were found dead.
A sheriff deputy of Georgia, his wife, daughter and stepson were found dead in their family home near Douglasville.
According to the initial investigation, the 21-year-old stepson killed his family before apparently committing suicide.
He allegedly shot his stepfather, 52-year-old Deputy Sam Driskell, 36-year-old Muachin Driskell who is the wife of the deputy, and the couple’s 12 -year-old daughter Carolyn, authorities said.
Sam Driskell was a detective for 10 years with the sheriff’s office. He was in charge of the sex offender registry. The stepson was identified as Felix Almonte. He was also found dead at the home, authorities said.
Officers went to check on Driskell, after he failed to show up for a court hearing on Tuesday.
