A construction worker is lucky to be alive after falling from a building and breaking all his limbs, rescue workers in China said.

28-year-old Yang Hsieh of Hunan, broke both his arms and legs and was forced to survive for seven days by drinking his own urine.

According to the investigation, Hsieh fell 65 feet to the ground, breaking his limbs and his mobile phone. Hsieh tried to scream for help, but none of his colleagues heard his cries.

After not showing up at work for the following six days, his friends assumed that he found job elsewhere without telling them.

Luckily, on the seventh say, a passerby who was walking his dog, heard noises and decided to investigate. When the man approached he was shocked to find the construction worker just laying there.

He called rescue workers, who rushed Hsieh to a nearby hospital, where doctors anticipate that he will make a full recovery.

Hsieh said that he had no choice but to drink his own urine in order to prevent dehydration.
