Teen father bites his newborn baby in the face to stop her continuous crying

(Scroll down for video) A young father was arrested for getting out of control when his newborn baby wouldn’t stop crying.

Police in Connecticut, arrested the teenage father after he allegedly admitted to biting his 6-week-old daughter in order to get her to stop crying.

18-year-old Felipe Deaquino of Stamford, was charged with assault and risk of injury to a child among other charges.

Police said that they were dispatched to the home around 8:00 p.m., by the Department of Children and Families after they received information that a child was being abused.

Officers who responded to the scene, found a woman saying that she lived with Deaquino and their young daughter.

The woman said that she and Deaquino, had an altercation during which he spat in her face because she had accused him of abusing his daughter. The woman then showed the officer a bruise on the baby’s face.

The officers took the woman and her baby to a nearby hospital. Doctors discovered that besides the large bruise on the left side of the baby’s face she also had a burn mark on the palm of her hand.

Doctors said that it could have been caused by a cigarette.

As the child was being examined at the hospital, Deaquino arrived and was placed under arrest. When interviewed by detectives, he allegedly admitted to biting his newborn baby to stop her from crying.

Deaquino was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct. He is being held on $35,000 bond.
