(Scroll down for video) Parents of a 1-year-old girl were arrested on charges of child neglect after allegedly recording their daughter pointing a gun at her mouth, police in Indiana said.

Evansville Police said that they arrested 19-year-old Michael Barnes and 22-year-old Toni Wilson, after officers saw video of the girl pointing the gun at her face while being urged to say “pow” and “bang.”

The father was detained during an undercover operation in which a police officer posed as a gun dealer. He was arrested for trying to sell a firearm to an undercover agent.

Police said that the girl’s mother can be heard on the video encouraging the child to say “pow,” and that no one tried to stop her when she put the gun at her mouth.

The mother told officers that the girl was holding a pellet gun, but investigators said that she held a .40 caliber pistol. Both parents face charges including child neglect and recklessness with a deadly weapon.
