A man who was accused of groping women on a train, said that he did so because of his bad marriage, police in China said.
Shanghai Police said that they arrested the man identified as Jiang, after he was accused of groping several female passengers.
Police have ordered the suspect jailed for 15 days.
Police launched their investigation after receiving five complaints of sexual harassment that occurred on the Line 10 train.
Police reviewed surveillance cameras, which showed the suspect seeking out female passengers who were alone. In all cases, he sat down beside them, pretending to sleep or listening to music and used a bag to conceal his actions.
He was arrested on charges of sexual assault. During police questioning, Jiang said that an unhappy marriage led him to sexually harass women on trains.
