(Scroll down for video) A mother was arrested after people spotted her driving with her son on her car.
The mother of Florida, is facing a charge of child cruelty after she was seen driving along a busy road with her teen son clinging to the hood of her car.
Police in Winter Springs, said that an officer pulled over Tojuana Lowe, 43, on Thursday morning.
Lowe allegedly told the officer that her son jumped on her car to prevent her from leaving the house. However, she began driving with him on the hood of the car as a punishment.
According to police, Lowe said that she assumed that he would jump off the car while she drove about 20 to 25 miles per hour.
Lowe continued driving with her son on her car for almost a third of a mile before she was arrested. No injuries were reported.
Tojuana Lowe was arrested around 7:30 a.m., after she was seen driving with her 16-year-old son who was clinging to the windshield.
When she was arrested, Lowe told the officer that she knew it was wrong to drive with a child clinging to the outside of her car.
She was booked into the Seminole County Jail, and was later released after posting $2,000 bail.
