A man was arrested after he threatened to kill his son during a board game.
The game of Yahtzee, went from fun to dangerous when the man got into a domestic dispute with his wife and then threatened to kill their 9-year-old son.
Brian Cutshall of North Dakota, was playing the game of Yahtzee with his wife while the two were drinking alcohol.
The couple began arguing, and things soon escalated into a physical altercation.
The boy who had been in bed at the time, came downstairs when he heard his parents fighting. He allegedly saw his mother on the floor with a bloody nose.
Soon after, the mother began beating her husband. That is when the man ordered his son to call police while threatening to kill him.
When officers arrived at the house, they found the 40-year-old man with a swollen cheek and his wife with red markings on the side of her neck.
Both adults appeared to be intoxicated, reeking of alcohol and slurring their words. Police allegedly discovered a 40-ounce bottle of beer and a half-empty bottle of wine.
The child was taken into protective custody while his father was arrested and charged with one count of terrorizing to which he pleaded not guilty.
