(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested, charged and convicted of voyeurism after using a mirror to look under the skirts of women, prosecutors in the United kingdom said.

Now, 39-year-old Barry Dyson of Horwich, who admitted to using a mirror to look under the skirts of women while they were shopping, has been jailed for 16 weeks.

The Manchester Magistrate’s Court heard how Dyson hid the mirror in his backpack, and then used it to see the women.

According to the police investigation, Dyson was seen crouching behind two women and using the mirror to look under their skirts.

Dyson admitted that he had done it on five separate occasions while in several stores. Dyson pleaded guilty of outraging public decency.

Dyson had also been convicted of similar behavior several years ago, and was given an anti social behavior order (ASBO) of five years.

Dyson targeted women aged between 20 and 40. The court has also banned Dyson from carrying any reflecting items in public. If Dyson is caught with a mirror, he faces an additional 5 years in prison.
