An Asian boy who was in Europe, thought that a local boy was making fun of him by dancing Gangam Style.

The teenager of Manchester, began dancing to Gangnam Style in front of a local shop when he was assaulted by an Asian boy, who thought his dancing was racist, a court heard.

Jordan Brennan,17, started doing the dance move made popular by South Korean artist Psy, during his visit to a shop with friends.

However, his actions provoked a 16-year-old boy in the store, who thought that his Chinese ethnicity was being mocked.

A fight broke out among the teenagers and the 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, demanded Brennan apologize to him.

As the two teens fought near the door, Brennan fell backwards and hit his head on metal shutters outside the store in Gorton, before hitting his head on the concrete floor below.

The suspect then kicked Brennan before returning to the store.

Brennan, who was hurt, stood up and went home without realizing that he had suffered a serious head injury.

He was found dead in his bed the next morning, when his mother tried to wake him up.

An autopsy revealed that Brennan suffered a fractured skull and bleeding in the brain during the fight with the Asian boy.

The suspect did not realize the severity of his actions until he saw himself on the news as a wanted man and turned himself in to police.

The 16-year-old suspect pleaded guilty to manslaughter at the Manchester Crown Court, and will be sentenced on a later date.
