(Scroll down for video) A woman in Texas, was left in tears after an officer pulled her over and falsely told her that she had a warrant out for her arrest.

However, before being handcuffed, the woman’s boyfriend, who is a police officer, “came to her rescue.”

Galveston Police Officer Gregory Parris asked his colleague to pull over his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Wolff, so he could propose to her, and the entire incident was caught on a police dashboard camera.

Wolff was pulled over and ordered out of her car. The officer told her that she had a broken tail light as well as a warrant out for her arrest. Wolff was in tears as she asked the officer what the warrant was for.

Before the officer answered the question, her boyfriend, officer Parris, walked up to her, got down on one knee and proposed to her. She said “yes.”

“It’s a good thing she said ‘yes.’ She might have gone to jail otherwise,” officer Parris said jokingly.

Wolff was very impressed by the proposal and said: “I couldn’t imagine being proposed to any better than that. It was perfect for us.”
