(Scroll down for video) Lonely people can now buy their perfect lover thanks to a new app.

The new app lets you pretend that you are in a relationship by sending you text messages, leaving you voicemail messages on your phone and even sending you romantic notes.

The Invisible Boyfriend and Invisible Girlfriend apps allow you to choose the name, age and photo of your virtual partner, and the software will help you come up with a story about how you met.

The price for a virtual lover will cost $24.99 a month. The price includes 100 texts, 10 voice messages and a handwritten note per month.

“Finally. A boyfriend your friends can believe in. Invisible Boyfriend gives you real-world and social proof that you’re in a relationship – even if you’re not – so you can get back to living life on your own terms,” the company wrote on its website.

“You will give him a name, choose his age and looks, and create his personality,” the company also wrote.
