A baby boy was killed by his brother who found their grandfather’s loaded gun.

Police Officer Darren White of Missouri, said that their community is proud about gun ownership.

However, he said that people need to be very careful especially when children are around.

The 9-month-old boy died after being accidentally shot in the head by his 5-year-old brother.

Emergency crews were called to the house around 9:00 a.m., after receiving a frantic call from the children’s 26-year-old mother, Alexis Wiederholt.

She told emergency services that she needed an ambulance at the home because her five-year-old boy had shot his young brother Corbin, in the head.

The mother said that she had no idea that her father, William Porter, kept a loaded gun in the house, where she and her children were visiting.

When police arrived, they found that the older boy had apparently found a loaded .22 Magnum revolver and shot his brother while laying in a crib.

The baby was taken by helicopter to a hospital, but was pronounced dead just before 12:00 p.m. May he rest in peace.
