Girl’s feet cut off after laying down in front of train because she couldn’t tell her parents about her failing grades

(Scroll down for video) A girl who decided to end her life after she didn’t pass her school tests, lost both her feet after a train cut them off, police in Slovakia said.

Pezinok Police said that 15-year-old Jesika Tothova, attempted to commit suicide after discovering that she had failed her math, physics and chemistry classes.

Tothova was terrified to tell her parents about her failed tests, and decided to lay down on the tracks and allow herself to get run over by an oncoming train.

After a few minutes, she was struck by an oncoming train, which amputated her feet. The train employees called police, who responded to the scene along with paramedics.

The teen was rushed to Children’s University Hospital in Bratislava. Doctors said that the teen is in stable condition and she is expected to recover.

No charges were filed against the conductor of the train.
