A college student in the United Kingdom, was horrified to find a yellow fingernail in her pizza that she bought at Domino’s.
20-year-old Sophie Manser, who is a student at Plymouth University, was hanging out with her friends, enjoying movies and pizza when she heard an unusual crunch while biting into her food.
She realized that there was a yellow fingernail baked into the crust of the pizza. Manser gave the slice of pizza to her friend and she ate the rest.
Later, Manser contacted the Domino’s and told them about the fingernail that she found in the pizza. She was sent more pizza and coupons for two free additional pizza pies as an apology.
Manser placed the fingernail into a plastic bag and sent it back to the store with the delivery person. Manser said that she will continue eating pizza, but will not order again from that branch.
Domino’s said that they were notified of the incident and are investigating.
