A man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct after allegedly raiding a store and urinating on merchandise, police in Pennsylvania said.
Philipsburg Police said that they have arrested 61-year-old Charles E. Merrell Jr., after being accused of entering a Dollar General store while under the influence of alcohol, urinating on merchandise and resisting arrest on Thursday.
According to the police investigation, Merrell went to the back of the store, where he urinated on merchandise. Merrell opened a side door, which triggered an alarm.
Police who arrived at the scene, tried to make contact with a relative of Merrell. That is when Merrell turned violent. He kicked an officer in the legs numerous times.
Merrell was taken to the Centre County Booking Center, where he was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
He was booked into the Centre County Prison. His bail was set at $10,000.
