Health officials in Peru, shut down a Domino’s Pizza store after a customer found a large cockroach on a pizza slice.

43-year-old Carlos Paredes was visiting a Domino’s Pizza branch in Lima.

He was disgusted to see a cockroach laying on his pizza slice.

At first, he thought it was an olive, but he did not order any and the pie only had one piece.

After a few minutes, he realized that it was the body of a dead cockroach. Paredes declined a meal replacement and demanded his money back.

Paredes told the shop owner that his health had been jeopardized by the incident. He even took pictures of the cockroach on his pizza and posted them on Facebook.

Paredes notified health officials and the restaurant was closed immediately.

Domino’s Pizza said that they are conducting an investigation into the incident to determine who was responsible for the cockroach.
