A paramedic was disgusted after a young man urinated on her while she was treating a patient, police in the United Kingdom said.
Shoreditch Police said that the 22-year-old man stood on a fourth-floor balcony and urinated on the emergency worker below.
Andrew Whitehead was arrested on charges of assault after urinating on Lorna McIlwaine, the patient she was treating and a police officer around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.
McIlwaine, 30, said that she had been called to treat a man who had suffered a broken nose and black eye in an unprovoked attack.
She was walking towards the man with a police officer when she suddenly felt a splash. She did not know what it was at first, but it became very clear that it was a body fluid.
She looked up and saw a man standing exposed and laughing.
McIlwaine said that she was upset because the incident prevented her from treating patients because she had to go home and change her clothes.
Whitehead was arrested by police and later charged with assault. He was fined 250 pounds ($381) and sentenced to 300 hours of community service at the Thames Magistrate’s Court.
