53-year-old man steals woman’s car while out on their first date

A man was arrested on charges of theft after stealing a car from a woman during a date, police in New Jersey said.

Waterford Township Police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Gerald Tietz on Saturday, after being accused of stealing his date’s car.

Tietz was arrested after the vehicle, which had a JRSYGRL license plate, was discovered in Cherry Hill. Tietz and the woman, became acquainted online and decide to meet.

Tietz told the woman that his name is Gennaro Aladena, and went by the nickname Gooch. Sometime during the night, police said that Tietz took the woman’s car keys and drove off.

Police said that Tietz also goes by the name Mike Rossman, and lives in Atlantic City and Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He was charged with one count of theft and booked into the Camden County Jail.
