The court heard that Imanishi, weighing 265 pounds, threw Kitajima to the ground, kicking and stomping his face before getting back to his chair to finish his food.
Kitajima fell into a coma and died of his injuries two days later.
According to the police investigation, the fight broke out when Kitajima pulled away a chair from Imanishi, which he used to rest his feet on.
