(Scroll down for video) A family is devastated over the senseless death of a family man.
52-year-old Antonio Muralles was brutally beaten and killed outside a McDonald’s in Stamford, Connecticut, after he bumped into a teenager and accidentally spilled coffee on Wednesday night.
Authorities have arrested James McLamb, 22, and the 15-year-old boy in connection with the death of Muralles.
New Haven Police said that Muralles, inadvertently hit the teenage boy as he left the McDonald’s on Broad Street.
“Words were exchanged and then, without warning, Muralles was brutally attacked and stabbed in the heart,” said Capt. Richard Conklin.
McLamb and the 15-year-old boy, who was not identified due to his age, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Authorities said that McLamb beat the victim before the 15-year-old boy fatally stabbed Muralles in his heart.
Muralles collapsed on the street and was taken to a hospital, where he died.
McLamb was arrested and he is being held on $2 million bond.
The 15-year-old boy is being held at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center, but he will likely be charged as an adult.
Police are searching for a third suspect, who was with the 2 men when Muralles was killed.
