A woman who wanted to keep her children on the straight path, ended up being arrested and losing her children.

29-year-old Tyeesha Mobley filed a lawsuit against the New York Police Department for wrongful arrest.

According to the lawsuit, Mobley called the police and asked them to talk to her children about theft after she had caught her 9-year-old child taking $10 from her wallet.

Mobley felt she was taking a proactive measure to teach his son a lesson in a creative way to get their attention.

However, when officers arrived to her home, they allegedly made racist comments towards Mobley. She was assaulted and arrested in front of the young children.

When the mother asked why she was being arrested, the officers became verbally abusive towards her.

One officer then told the mother: “You black b*****s don’t know how to take care of your kids. You need to call the kids’ father, not us. We can’t raise your kids. Why are you wasting our time.”

After Mobley was arrested, both of her children were taken to the police station. She was charged with child neglect, a charge that didn’t hold up in court.

However, the family’s problems were far from over. Mobley’s children were forced to spend four months in foster care after her arrest.

To make matters worse, the children were placed in a dangerous situation while in foster care. They suffered burns and untreated asthma attacks, according to the lawsuit.
