(Scroll down for video) A restaurant employee received a $100 tip after he paid for a boy’s ice cream.
Travis Sattler who workers at a restaurant called Freddy in Katy, Texas, said that a boy came to the counter and ordered a dessert.
The boy tried to figure out if he had enough money to pay for a mini-mint Oreo custard. He then handed all his dollar bills and change to Sattler.
“He was a little nervous,” said Sattler. The boy was $2 short. Without hesitation, Sattler pulled out his own credit card and generously told the boy: “It’s on me.”
“He had the biggest eyes and the widest smile,” Sattler said. The boy then left with the treat.
However, the boy returned a short time later with his mother and handed Sattler a note that read: “Thank you for being so nice and paying for my custard. We need more people like you.”
Satter was surprised to find a $100 bill wrapped in the note.
Freddy’s said that they are looking for the boy so that they can give him a $100 gift card.
