A woman was arrested, charged and convicted of disorderly conduct after she was seen urinating in a supermarket aisle in front of other customers, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.

40-year-old Amanda Jayne Warner has pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place after the incident in the Llanelli Supermarket.

Around 9:00 p.m., when Warner entered the Aldi on Swanfield Place, a security guard noticed that she was talking loudly on the phone and swearing.

She began shopping, and also approached other buyers and asked them to talk on the phone. She was clearly being a nuisance, the Llanelli Magistrate’s Court was told.

The security guard followed Warner, and saw her leaning over and urinate through her clothes on the floor of the store. Warner tried to purchase alcohol, but was rejected because she appeared to be intoxicated.

Warner became verbally abusive, and she was told to leave the store. When she refused, the manager called the police. Officers who arrived at the scene, observed that she was drunk and was arrested.

In court, Warner apologized for her actions.

Warner was fined 40 pounds ($59) and was ordered to pay court costs of 85 pounds ($126) along with a 20 pound ($29) victim surcharge.
