(Scroll down for video) A man posed as a police officer in order to cut in line at a restaurant drive-thru window, police in Texas said.
Odessa Police said that they have charged the man with impersonating a police officer for using sirens and flashing lights to jump to the head of the drive-thru line.
25-year-old Michael Chico was arrested after an off-duty officer saw his truck, which was made to look like an undercover police vehicle.
The off-duty officer saw the truck cut in line at the Whataburger drive-thru on Saturday, and thought that the driver, wearing a uniform, was a volunteer firefighter.
The off-duty officer followed Chico for some time. When confronted, Chico said that he was not an officer and uses lights and sirens to get through traffic lights.
Chico was released Sunday on $15,000 bond. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
