(Scroll down for video) A man slapped a lawsuit on Pizza Hut after allegedly breaking his dentures while biting into a hard crouton, according to court documents in Tennessee.
Everett Chattman of Harriman, was eating at Pizza Hut, when he broke a partial denture while biting on the very hard crouton.
Chattman and his lawyer initially tried to get compensation through insurance, but filed the lawsuit when they failed to reach a resolution.
Chattman accuses Pizza Hut of causing personal injury and damage, according to the lawsuit.
Chattman alleges that Pizza Hut damaged his teeth by negligence after serving him very hard croutons at their restaurant.
Pizza Hut denied the allegations. However, a judge agreed with the plaintiff and awarded him $2,400 with interest and costs.
