(Scroll down for video) Police are looking for a man who got a tattoo of Jesus, before running off without paying.

The man stole $1,000 from the establishment and then escaped without paying for his tattoo.

The suspect booked an appointment for the tattoo at RedINC in Luton, England. The man wanted a botched tattoo to be removed and replaced with a new one.

The man asked for a tattoo of Jesus, and the name of his daughter under it. The tattoo was done on his upper right arm.

The man gave a deposit of 50 pounds ($75). However, when it was time to pay the remaining 200 pounds (about $300) for the tattoo, the man said that he had already paid. He claimed that he gave the money to another worker.

When the worker went to call the colleague, the suspect ran out of the store without paying.

After reviewing the surveillance video, the owner, Joanne Baum, realized that while the suspect had his tattoo done, the worker walked away for a few minutes. That is when the suspect got up from the chair, walked behind the counter and stole 1,000 pounds (about $1,500).

He then returned to the chair to have the Jesus tattoo finished. The laser removal and the new tattoo took about 7 hours to complete.

“The man already had a tattoo of a praying hands on his other arm, which was inscribed with ‘Only God can judge me,’” Baum said.

The suspect was described as a man of Asian ethnicity, in his 20s, approximately 6 foot tall, and well built.
