(Scroll down for video) A woman was eating at a restaurant when she felt something hard in her mouth.

53-year-old Toni Elliot stopped eating to pull the hard piece out of her mouth.

To her surprise, she found many pearls in her mouth.

The restaurant manager in Tennessee, said that the woman was eating seafood when she discovered 50 pearls in a single oyster.

Greg Hergest, general manager of Puckett’s Boathouse in Franklin, said that Elliot was eating a plate of oysters on Thursday, when she bit into something hard.

He went to see if she was okay, and responded, “Oh, yes, I just found this pearl in my mouth,” Hergest said.

“She then started pulling more pearls out of her mouth, as the whole table laughed,” Hergest added.

Eric Horton, a server at the restaurant, said that the customer kept pulling pearls out of the oyster.

Horton said that from time to time, people find pearls in their oyster. However, this woman found a record number of pearls, and she had many of them in her mouth.

People took photos of the 50 pearls before it was placed in a cup for Elliot to take home.

“It’s like winning the lottery. She was so excited to have them,” Hergest said.

Although finding 50 pearls in a single oyster is rare, it did not hit the world record, as someone had previously found 86 pearls in a single oyster.
