(Scroll down for video) A brave teenager is not letting her disability ruin her life.
Girija Srinivas was born with a rare condition called congenital agenesis, which stops her limbs from fully developing.
Srinivas is the size of a 2-year-old child. She is 2 and a half feet tall and weighs just 27 pounds.
Srinivas, who is now 19 years old, lives in Bengaluru, India. She began supporting her family with her a career as an artist.
Srinivas likes to be independent, although she cannot do a lot on her own when it comes to her art, she does it all by herself.
“My mother helps me with almost everything. However, when I am drawing and painting, I don’t need anybody’s help,” Srinivas said.
Srinivas has to be careful with her activities as she risks breaking her neck if it moves too fast due to the weight of her head compared to the rest of her body.
Despite the enormous challenges she is facing, the teen helps support her parents through her art.
She sells between 5 and 6 paintings a month, which earns between 8,000 and 10,000 rupees ($130 to $160).
