A British citizen was arrested during his trip to Florida.
41-year-old Andrew Stewart Wood from Havant, Hampshire, was charged after he allegedly urinated in an ice machine at a hotel in Orlando.
Wood was accused of urinating in the ice machine at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal theme park resort in the early hours of Tuesday.
A guest told a security guard at the luxury hotel that there was a very intoxicated man at the facility.
The guard located Wood and saw him urinating in the ice machine. When he tried to stop him, Wood became belligerent and would not cooperate.
According to the police report, the security guard asked Wood to identify himself and give him his room number, but he continued to disturb the peace and tranquility of the other guests.
The security guard then called police. Police removed Wood from the premises after he refused to stay in his room.
Officials said that Wood was extremely intoxicated “with the odor of alcohol emanating from his person and he had random outbursts.”
He was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and placed in jail, where he continued to act out.
Wood was released from the Orange County Jail after he posted $1,000 bail.
A spokesperson for the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando said: “The health and safety of our customers is our top priority and we have removed the ice machine from service.”
