(Scroll down for video) A Detroit police officer was arrested after he took revenge of a wheelchair bound woman for bad mouthing his wife.
29-year-old Clifford Gullion was arrested after he shot at a house in Macomb County.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan, a couple called police around 2:00 a.m., after five shots were fired at their residence.
Officer Gullion was accused of the drive-by shooting. One bullet struck the family’s living room couch, but no one was injured.
Investigators said that the officer confessed to shooting at the home, saying that it was payback for the couple bad mouthing his wife who worked as their caregiver.
Gullion began working for the Detroit Police Department in 2009, and he was on paid medical leave for over two and a half years after being injured in a car accident while on duty.
The officer was scheduled to return to work next month, but was suspended without pay after the shooting.
Gullion was charged with two counts of discharging a weapon and criminal use of a firearm. He faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted of the crime.
His bail was set at $250,000.
