Osaka Police said that the suspect, a police inspector, turned himself in for questioning after being accused of touching the woman inappropriately on the JR Kanjo train.

According to the police investigation, the 56-year-old officer who is an instructor at a police academy in Sakai, was temporarily reassigned to a police station.
