A group of strippers won a huge payout after their boss took away their tips, according to court documents in California.

A jury in Los Angeles, awarded $6.5 million to 249 exotic dancers who complained that the manager of a strip club illegally took away their tips.

The lawsuit was filed against Paradise Showgirls by 29-year-old Quinece Hills.

The club manager admitted that at the end of the strippers’ shifts, he took $14 of the $40 the dancers earned and even more from more expensive dances.

The judge in the case will also be asked to issue a restraining order against Paradise Showgirls, banning them from taking away the tips of their dancers.

Hills testified that she became a stripper when she was 19 years old. She said that she was hired by Paradise Showgirls and used the nickname Sparkle.

She worked there for several years. Hills has since left behind exotic dancing and now works as a makeup artist. An attorney for the club said that he will appeal the verdict.
