Four men were arrested, charged and convicted of rape after gang raping a boy outside a school, prosecutors in the United Arab Emirates said.

21-year-old A. A. was sentenced to three years in jail for kidnapping, threatening and raping the 13-year-old boy.

18-year-old S. M., 19-year-old A. M., 20-year-old M. B., were sentenced to two years in jail.

H. A. told police that the incident unfolded after he went to Jumeirah Beach with his mother and brother to play football.

Around 7:00 p.m., his mother went home with one of his brothers and left him there alone. The boy was approached by A. A. in the playground.

He led the boy to a dark area where he raped him. When the boy tried to escape, he threatened to kill him and his family. Later that night, A. A. called the boy and asked him to meet outside a school.

When the boy arrived, the four suspects took the boy to a commercial building where they took turns raping him. The father of the victim told police that the abuse came to light after he noticed that his son had difficulty sitting.

The father asked the boy what was wrong, and he told him that he was raped by the four suspects. The boy is suffering psychological problems as a result of the abuse.

During questioning, the four suspects told police that they had consensual sex with the boy.
