Mila Dago warned her boyfriend that she was going to die and it was all his fault.
The woman of Florida, sent the text message to her boyfriend saying: “Driving drunk woo… I’ll be dead thanks to you.”
Just moments later, she drove through a red light, causing a fatal crash, police said.
Dago, who was 22 years old at the time, survived the crash. However, her friend, Irina Reinoso, 22, who was a passenger in the car, was not so lucky.
Dago is awaiting trial for the death of her friend.
According to the prosecutor, Dago was out partying in Miami, after a bitter break-up with her boyfriend.
Throughout the night, Dago sent her boyfriend about 60 bitter texts, including some chilling messages before the accident, police said.
“I’m done, you ruined me… You’ll be the death of me,” she wrote in one of the messages before the accident.
Dago was driving a rented Smart car when she blew a red light. Her friend Reinoso, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver who was hit by the Smart car, Benjamin Byrum, 51, was knocked unconscious, but he recovered.
Reinoso’s family filed a civil suit against Dago, and the rental company Car2Go.
