A man named Julio Mercedes, filed a complaint with police, saying that two scary-looking men stole a BMW from his parking garage, police in New York said.
The New York Police Department said that the two men stole the BMW from Imperial Parking, a parking garage at 252 Seventh Avenue in Manhattan.
The parking attendant told investigators that the two men who looked scary and dangerous, came in the garage around 2:00 a.m., requesting the BMW they had reserved.
The parking attendant released the car, even though he knew that they did not have a reservation. The BMW is valued at $53,000.
Police located the car in Brooklyn. Julio Mercedes, the manager of Imperial Parking, said that he is very upset by what has happened.
The BMW belonged to Zipcar, which is a car rental company.
