A woman repaid a couple for their kindness with evil.

The woman of the United Kingdom, lost her home and was invited to live with a couple and their 2 young children.

28-year-old Sadie Jenkins of Wales, was arrested for attempted murder after slashing the throats of the couple’s 16-month-old girl and 7-year-old boy.

Jenkins is accused of using a steak knife to slice the throat of the children while she stayed at their home as a guest, the Cardiff Crown Court was told.

Homeowners Nigel and Ceri Ash, both 58, said that they were awakened by the cries of their children and ran to the room, where they found Jenkins holding the knife over the girl.

The couple pushed her against the wall and fought the steak knife out of her hand. They then grabbed their daughter and ran downstairs.

Prosecutor Paul Lewis said that when they entered the living room, they discovered their 7-year-old son in the corner of the room holding a blanket to his throat.

The two injured children, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital and underwent immediate surgery to treat their life-threatening wounds.

Jenkins said that she suffered from a drug-induced psychosis at the time of the attack. She claimed that voices told her to slash the throats of the children.

Mr. Lewis told the court the Jenkins appeared normal in the hours before the attack in their home in Newport.
