IKEA opened the strange cafe in London this week.

The menu includes smoked salmon, toast, tea and juice as well as a number of specialties. Customers can also choose from a selection of pillows, quilts and bedding to make the most of their lazy dining experience.

Sleep specialists will be on hand to ensure that customers are totally relaxed, with a range of sleep-inducing teas and soft music.

Each customer can spend a maximum of 45 minutes in bed. The new restaurant is called The IKEA Breakfast in Bed Cafe.

“There’s nothing better than being in your own bed, you can enjoy sleep, cuddles and lazy days. At IKEA, we believe that the delight of having breakfast in bed shouldn’t just be reserved for those special occasions and should be something that makes everyday wonderful. To celebrate this firmly held belief in starting the day the right way, we are opening The IKEA Breakfast in Bed Cafe, to showcase how we can make our beds and bedrooms an oasis of serenity amid the hubbub of the outside world,” IKEA said in a statement.
