(Scroll down for video) An artist in New York, earned millions of dollars after downloading many pictures from Instagram, and selling them as art pieces.
65-year-old Richard Prince blew up images taken from his Instagram feed and printed them on canvas for his series New Portraits.
The series features pictures of famous models, artists and celebrities as well as racy photos of random women.
The 38 photographs, which were first exhibited at the Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles, California, sold at the Frieze New York last week.
Each image sold for more than $90,000 for a total of around $3.8 million.
Prince has avoided violating copyright laws by removing the original comments from the photos and replacing them with his own.
Some women were happy that their photos were selling for thousands of dollars despite the fact that Prince did not get their approval, but others were angry.
