A man’s attempt to stop a tow truck driver from taking his vehicle cost him his life.
53-year-old Carlos Weeks of Texas, was frustrated when he spotted a driver hooking up his vehicle to a tow truck.
Weeks rushed to the tow truck driver’s side window around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, to stop the driver from taking his SUV.
Sadly, he lost his balance and fell under the rear wheels of the tow truck.
He was crushed under the wheels of the tow truck as it pulled away with his vehicle, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Weeks had allegedly parked his 2004 Lincoln Aviator illegally on the 3400 block of Cedar Plaza Lane in Love Field.
So far, the tow truck driver was not charged as it seemed to be an accident.
