(Scroll down for video) A former police sergeant was arrested on charges of rape.
The former Massachusetts police sergeant was arrested after being accused of raping the girl over a period of several years, beginning when she was only 7 years old.
62-year-old David Connor of Amesbury, was arrested after a 10-month-long investigation. He was charged with aggravated rape, child abuse, indecent exposure and child pornography.
Prosecutor Maura Bailey said that the girl described a series of incidents that occurred for at least 3 years. The rapes occurred in Connor’s home.
The victim claimed that she would watch adult videos with Connor before being assaulted.
“She described him pleasuring himself while sitting watching movies of naked people,” Bailey said.
Connor’s attorney, Bill Crowe, said that there is no corroborative medical evidence to support these allegations.
However, investigators allegedly found more than 24 videos of child pornography on the personal computer of Connor.
Connor is being held on $500,000 bond.
