A man was jailed after he raped a woman, and it was all recorded by police in the United Kingdom.

43-year-old Anthony Cronk of Rogerstone, Wales, was arrested after he raped a woman and then attempted to blackmail her so she would not go to police.

Cronk, a father of 5 children, recently got out of a 20-year relationship with his estranged wife. He met another woman, and the two began dating.

After one month of dating, the woman allowed Cronk to take nude photos of her and the two engaged in an intimate relationship.

However, on the night in question, the woman did not want to have sex with Cronk, and he forced himself onto her.

The woman managed to call the police before her phone fell to the floor. The call was recorded by a dispatcher and handed over to investigators, leading to Cronk’s arrest.

During the 17-minute long recording, the woman was heard begging Cronk to get off her.

When she threatened to report him to the police, Cronk said he would “show the naked pictures of her and no one would believe her.”

Cronk initially said that the sex was consensual. However, after being confronted with the recorded police call, he pleaded guilty to the charges.

The judge described the recording as “graphic and distressing to listen to.”

Cronk was sentenced to 4 years in prison and he was ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
