A drunk woman was arrested on a charge of assault after allegedly shoving her mother following a dispute over food, police in Florida said.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said that an argument between a mother and her daughter over chicken and biscuits turned violent.
31-year-old Kristin Michelle Howard was charged with domestic assault after assaulting her mother with tea around 11:30 p.m. on Friday.
The incident unfolded at the Ponderosa Mobile Home Park on US 1 in Bunnell.
The mother of the woman, 50-year-old Kimberly Miller, told officers that her daughter returned home drunk and angry before preparing herself a plate of chicken and biscuits.
When Miller told Howard that the food was not hers, she told her that she did not care who it belonged to. Howard proceeded to break the plate in the kitchen sink.
Miller then told Howard to leave the house. In response, Howard shoved Miller and punched her in the face. She also poured hot tea on her mother, police said.
