(Scroll down for video) A woman in Michigan, was fired from her job as a paramedic after she refused to help a dying newborn baby who had difficulties breathing.
The Detroit Fire Commissioner fired Ann Marie Thomas, after she refused to treat the 8-month-old baby who was not breathing.
A dispatcher ordered Thomas to drive to the house where the baby was not breathing as she was just around the corner.
She refused to enter the home because CPR would take 10 minutes.
The dispatcher pleaded with her, saying that the child is not breathing, but she still refused.
Another ambulance eventually transported the baby to a hospital, but she died the next morning.
