(Scroll down for video) A man who threatened his son’s mother that he can make the child disappear, acted on his threat.

21-year-old Tony Moreno threw his son Aaden Moreno into the Connecticut River during a bitter custody battle after a Superior Court judge lifted a temporary restraining order, which the boy’s mother had against him.

Now, Moreno faces murder charges in the death of his 7-month-old son.

After he threw his son over the bridge, Moreno also jumped into the river. He plunged 90 feet into the river, but was saved. Sadly, the child died at the scene.

The child’s mother, Adrianne Oyola, and Moreno, shared custody of the boy after the judge lifted a temporary restraining order and rejected Oyola’s request for a permanent one.

The father sent a message to Oyola, saying that “Enjoy your new life without us,” according to the arrest warrant.

When the woman asked about their son’s whereabouts, Moreno responded: “He’s dead, and soon I will be too.”

Moreno was taken to the Hartford Hospital with injuries which he sustained while jumping into the river. Moreno was charged with murder. His bail was set at $2.1 million.
