Teen has throat slit by rival from behind while sitting at computer at packed Internet cafe

People at an Internet cafe in China, were shocked when a teenager slit the throat of another in front of others.

The 17-year-old boy was killed at the Internet cafe in Dongguan, Guangdong, when one of his peers snuck up behind him and slit his throat with a knife.

The victim, Guo Xianghu, had reportedly gotten into an argument with the suspect, who was identified as Lei, in a bar just below the Internet cafe.

After getting into the argument, Lei ran to a department store and bought two knives. He then entered the Internet cafe, where Xianghu had been using a computer.

Surveillance video, which was uploaded to the Internet, shows the suspect wearing a white shirt and black pants while approaching Xianghu. He grabbed him from behind in a surprise attack.

Lei slit Xianghu’s throat and fled the scene.

Patrons at the Internet cafe began chasing Lei after seeing the victim stumbling out of his chair with his hand on his throat, with blood dripping on his shirt.

The suspect managed to escape. Police found Lei, and he was arrested. Paramedics attempted to save the victim, but he lost too much blood and died of his injuries.
