Huntington Beach police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Darreck Michael Enciso, after communicating with a 14-year-old girl and agreeing to give her free tickets in exchange for sex.
Enciso was charged with attempted lewd act upon a child, contacting a child with intent to commit a sexual offense and meeting a child with the intent to engage in lewd conduct.
According to the police investigation, Enciso allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist, seeking a woman willing to participate in sexual acts for Disneyland tickets.
Enciso was contacted by an undercover police officer who posed as a 14-year-old girl. The two agreed to meet. Enciso allegedly showed up at the prearranged location with condoms and tickets to Disneyland.
If convicted of the charges, Enciso faces a maximum sentence of four years and eight months in state prison, and would be registered for life as a sex offender.
Disneyland issued a statement, saying that they have fired the suspect. Enciso was booked into jail and his bail was set at $100,000.
